Longest Games in MLB and Yankees History Part 1

With the Yankees losing to the Oakland Athletics in 18 innings yesterday, I am going to show you some of the longest baseball games ever played.

The longest game (in innings) in MLB history was actually a tie, with the Brooklyn Robins tying the Boston Braves 1 to 1 in 26 innings. This happened on May 1st,1920. The game was suspended because of darkness. Both of the pitchers, Joe Oeschger of the Braves and Leon Cadore of the Robins went the full 26 innings.
