My Top Five Favorite Yankee World Series Rings Part 4

After taking a day off yesterday, here is number 2!

Number 2

The 2000 Ring

As you can probably see, this ring is Derek Jeter's. It came from the 2000 Subway Series against the Mets. The "26th" stands for it being the 26th World Series that the Yankees had won. The ring of flags behind the "26th" is the World Series trophy.

The ring has 22 diamonds and 34.5 grams of gold. On the other side of the ring, there are three subway cars. They represent the three straight World Series titles the Yankees had won and the Subway Series, the nickname of the 2000 World Series.

You can find the first part of this series here, the second part here, and the third part here. Check back tomorrow as I conclude this series with my favorite ring.
