Yankees win, have two games left

The Yankees won 3-2 Friday against the Houston Astros, in a meaningless game for both teams. This was the third-to-last game of the season. It is the end of a dismal year marked by injuries and losses. Derek Jeter has barely played any games and is on the DL. Two of the Yankees' most consistent players, Mariano Rivera and Andy Pettitte are retiring. Pettitte plays his final game on Saturday, in the place where he spent three of his 18 major league years.
